Whole School Open Morning
Saturday 7 February, 10am - 12.30pm
Join us for our Open Morning and find out what Ryde School has to offer your child be it in our Nursery, Prep, Senior School or Sixth Form.
Arrival is at 10am and Will Turner, Head Master, will speak in the theatre at 10.15am. This will be beneficial for all parents looking to join the Prep or Senior school.
Tours will then commence by our fantastic students of the Prep or Senior School.
Each department will be open and there will be opportunity to:
- take part in experiments in science
- bring designs to life in Design and Technology
- create your own Edgar Degas inspired tile in the Art Department
- watch our sports team in action on the pitches and in the sports hall
- decorate your own biscuits in cookery and taste some of the amazing Italian delights
- puzzles in the maths department, make your own bookmarks in English, Language quizzes and so much including our huge array of co-curricular opportunities.
- visit our exceptional boarding houses for those interested in flexi, weekly or full boarding.
The tours will last around 1 hour 15 minutes and the event will culminate in the dining hall for a light lunch and opportunity to speak to our academic and Learning Support teams, the Head Master and many of our teachers including those leading co-curricular, sailing and sport at Ryde School. Of course our admissions team will be on hand to help with any questions regarding joining the Nursery, Prep and Senior School.
The Open Morning will end at 12.30pm.
