HEAD OF PREP Full Time Ryde School seeks to appoint a Head of Prep. The post holder will oversee the day-to-day running of the Prep section of the School (from ages 2-11) and be part of the wider School’s Senior Leadership Group. TEACHER of MATHEMATICS Ryde School seeks to appoint a full-time or part-time Teacher of Mathematics to work in the Senior Section of the School (Year 7 to Sixth Form). Candidates should be able to teach Mathematics to A Level and/or IBDP, with experience of teaching A Level Further Mathematics or IB Higher Level Mathematics desirable but not a requirement. All teaching staff at the School are expected to be outstanding practitioners in the classroom and to contribute to the busy co-curricular life in the School. PERFORMING ARTS TECHNICIAN |
FULL TIME, TERM TIME (plus 4 weeks) Ryde School is a co-educational independent day and boarding school for children aged 2 -18 years old. We are currently looking to appoint a proactive and organised individual to work in our vibrant and flourishing Performing Arts department. Our purpose is to provide an exceptional education on the Isle of Wight, enabling our boarding and day pupils to flourish in mind, body and soul. We nurture pupils to make a positive difference and embrace the opportunities of the wider world. Reporting to the Director of Performing Arts, in this role you will collaborate closely in the planning and delivery of the co-curricular drama programme. This will include researching, designing and constructing sets and prop making for productions and curriculum Drama, as well as assisting with the planning, rigging and plotting of sound and lighting designs and other specialist theatre equipment. With a keen enthusiasm for enhancing the classroom experience for our pupils, the successful candidate will use their passion for drama to support GCSE/A level/BTEC Performing Arts technical design pupils with their projects.
